No. Nordic Walking is very easy to learn and it’s fun.  You can learn on your own through our instructional DVD or you can take a class. To find a class in you area, check out the “Events” page on this website.

Is Nordic Walking an intense workout?
You’ll actually have a lower perceived exertion, which means your body will be working harder but it won’t feel like it. Plus, our poles are made of lightweight carbon composite so you’ll barely notice the weight.

Anywhere, anytime of the year.  From sidewalks, parks, and trails to beaches and mountains, Exel Nordic Walking poles have interchangeable tips for varying terrain.

How often do you need to replace your asphalt paws?
It depends on how often you Nordic Walk on Pavement. If you walk frequently you will have to replace your paws in about 6 months. You can purchase extra asphalt paws on our website under “Accessories”.

Do the poles come as a pair?
Yes. Nordic Walking poles are sold as a pair.

Can you use Nordic Walking poles in the snow?
Yes. Nordic Walking poles have an interchangeable tip which allows you to switch your tip to snowshoe baskets in the winter. You can find snowshoe baskets on this website under “Accessories”.

What size Nordic Walking poles do I need?
Your elbow should bend at a 90 degree angle when you hold the grip of the pole in your hand. See this size chart for the correct size for your height. If you height is between 2 sizes, it is best to err on the shorter size.
